The bedrooms are light and airy with large picture windows. Both rooms have a sofa for relaxing and a desk with free access to WiFi, as well as a hairdryer; flat screen digital televisions and radio, plus a wide choice of books. Guests are also able to use the washing machine and ironing board.
Tea and coffee making facilities are available and Katharine makes a fresh cake most days for afternoon tea.
English or Continental breakfast is served in the dining room and if the weather is fine, breakfast or tea can be taken in the garden under the oak tree.
Breakfast is a treat: homemade bread and yogurt, the full cooked works with organic sausages and bacon from a Norfolk farm, lots of homemade marmalade and jams made by Katharine's mother and mother-in-law, as well as their home grown fruit, and a good selection of teas and coffee
The house is very relaxed and the atmosphere is more like staying with a friend than in a B&B. A quiet, calm oasis where you are welcome to linger and unwind from the stresses of London life.
There is no check-in or check-out time, guests are free to come and go as they please.
